In Philippians 1:27 Paul tells us to, “conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ…” Charles Sheldon in his book, “In His Steps” had his characters ask the question, “What would Jesus do?” But I think an even better question to ask than “What would Jesus do?” is to ask, “What DID Jesus do?” Jesus lived here once and He faced conflicts, suffering, hostility, loss and was tempted in all the same ways we are tempted as it says in Hebrews 4:15. So, our question need not be a theoretical one. It can be an historical one. When Jesus was in my shoes what DID He do? If you want to conduct yourself in a manner worth of Christ, study His life and then do what he did. Think about it.
