The Stewardship Minute – Romans 8:5
Paul shares a keen insight into the world of the flesh and the spirit. He writes in Romans 8:5, “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on ?the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the spirit.” You can tell by what a person thinks about whether they are living according to the flesh or according to the spirit. A fleshly-mind thinks about things like making money, having nice houses, cars and toys, image, power, fame and on enjoying the things of this world. The spiritual-mind thinks about things like eternity, saving the lost, helping the needy, encouraging the downtrodden and on being a blessing to others. Which of these two minds best describes you? Think about it.
